We’ve been following the important work of the Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce for some time. They truly are instrumental in not only forging links between Norway and the UK, but building a real community.
From multi-national firms to emerging businesses, their chief mission is to promote trade and investment between the countries.
That includes working closely with the Norwegian Embassy, Innovation Norway and other chambers. It also promotes networking events and supports professional development such as their forthcoming 155th anniversary celebration in London.
You only have to view the NBCC social media feeds or visit their website to see how hard they are working to make sure people have a chance to meet each other, to network, focus on key issues and importantly too, have fun.
So it was with some real delight that we have taken up an invitation from General Manager Kyrre Haugen to join as a corporate member.
For us it is a real opportunity to build bridges between our base in Scotland and Norway, and in turn we hope to offer fellow members a window to the media, political and sustainability landscape here.
We are delighted to be part of their growing community and look forward to meeting friends old and new again soon.
You can learn about becoming a member at this link or get in touch and we will gladly arrange introductions.
