Danny Kyle Award winner Laura Silverstone has signed a record deal with independent label Last Night From Glasgow (LNFG), with two album releases confirmed.
LNFG will release fan favourite Heartwood on vinyl for the first time this summer, marking the album’s second anniversary in July. The release will be a strictly limited collector’s edition, individually numbered and signed.
The label will also release Laura’s new studio album in early 2027, following a year of extensive live touring and festival appearances, which begin in the coming weeks. A series of new singles will be released in the months ahead.

The signing follows Laura’s recent Danny Kyle Award win at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall during Celtic Connections. Born in the Basque Country and now based in Edinburgh, she has also recently supported Frank Turner at his Lost Evenings VIII event at Edinburgh Corn Exchange, as well as Mad Dog Macrae in Edinburgh.
Recent appearances for the indie-folk favourite include HebCelt, Kelburn Garden Party, Fringe by the Sea, Dunbar Music Festival, and Lost Shore.
This year she is already confirmed for the main stage at Sound of Iona Music Festival with the likes of Newton Faulkner, and will perform at Back Doune the Rabbit Hole. She also opens for Willie Nile in Barcelona on 21 March.
Laura has also just announced the first 24 dates of her forthcoming UK and European tour, with further shows to be confirmed.
Laura said: “I’m incredibly excited about how the new album is coming together, and at the same time I’ve had so many people asking for Heartwood on vinyl. I’m really delighted to be working with Last Night From Glasgow.
“The team has already made me feel very welcome and supported. It’s shaping up to be a busy year of touring, and I can’t wait for people to hear the new music.”
Confirming the deal, LNFG told subscribers: “We are delighted to announce the signing of Laura Silverstone, originally from the Basque country Laura is now based in Edinburgh.
“Avid fans of Celtic Connections will know she recently won the Danny Kyle stage! Her new album will be released into 2027 memberships and record shops worldwide on March 26th.
“Before then though, we will release her debut album on Vinyl for the very first time. It is available to pre-order in a very limited edition.”

The limited edition release, pressed on slate blue vinyl at Seabass in East Lothian, is available to pre-order now at their online shop.
